Longest distance travelled winner,Sandy Issacs arrives home.   1 comment

Below is a letter form Sandy sent Sat.July 28th 20212

Hi Margaret and Mark,

I am now back all in one piece, as is my MGB!  It was a great cruise back.  I camped in some beautiful spots by water, added a bit of oil just at the Quebec New Brunswick border, and the rest of it was just back roads, and scenery of all kinds.  I took two ferries – Digby to St. John and then across the Lawrence to Les Escoumins QC. Saw whales on the crossing :).  I didn’t know about the terrain on the northern shore. Had I, I might have avoided.  Instead, it was a brilliant roller coaster ride, scary but I made it with a lot of 10 to 14degree hills that seemed to last for ever.  I am definitely having the brakes checked and a serious tune up.

Thanks so much for the opportunity for this adventure.  Please pass on my best wishes to everyone.

Sandy
